Caribbean Anemone Caribbean Anemone can be found in the Caribbean sea mostly in inshore areas and may also be found on coral reefs near Bermuda. They are primarily sessile, immobile and fixed in place, but this particular species in is very mobile. They use a form of locomotion where they craw by suing their pedal disk. The moving function includes releasing the substrate by the pedal disk, and contractions occur creating the movement, then it brings itself back to its substrate position. This is a slow movement. To protect against predators, it reduces itself in size and makes room in the gastric cavity by forcing almost all of the water out.
