Tree Frog Tree frogs are a chordate species of frogs that spend their lives in trees. They can be found in rain forest environments. Tree frogs are nocturnal creatures and spend 95 percent of their time not moving. The tree frogs have muscular structures that allow them to hop and walk which is important when living in trees to avoid falling. They also have hands and feet with digits that have structures that allow them to grip to tree surfaces. They have very strong hands to enable them to live in a moist, tree environment safely.
